Balsgard Lingonberry

Balsgard was developed in the Lingonberry Program of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Balsgard in southern Sweden. Balsgard is known for high yields, upright habit, large fruit size, and good flavor. The mature plant height reaches 10 inches, and is a more compact mounding rather than a spreading shrub, as with other cultivars. The plants yield Revlon–Red fruits. To promote pollination for best fruit size and yield, plant with another of our Lingonberry cultivars.
