Nangoonberry Raspberries

Showing all 4 results

Nangoonberry was formerly named Ground Cover Raspberry. The ground hugging plants are without
thorns! The plants grow to be a mature height of about 5 inches and spread by rhizomes, making or
thick mat of bright green trifoliate foliage.
In late spring, a grand show of pinkish lavender flowers appears on each stem. In July the raspberry
fruits ripen to a deep red to purple with outstanding berry flavors and aromas. In the fall, the foliage
slowly changes to reds and burgundy color continuing the color until winter. During the winter months
the herbaceous plants die back to the soil and wait until spring.
There are 4 varieties; Beata, Sophia, Ana, and Valentina. Plant 2 or more varieties for the best
pollination.
