Formerly known as USDA selection ‘74-52’, we have renamed this male variety in honor of David Fairchild, famed plant explorer and tireless advocate for A. arguta. ‘Fairchild’ is an excellent planting companion for all flowering A. arguta varieties due to its relatively long flowering window.
