Invicta is a large green fruited gooseberry. The fruits are sweet and flavorful when harvested ripe for the fresh markets. The plants are adaptable for mechanical harvesting for fresh or process markets. The plants have high vigor and are resistant to mildew. The variety is a good choice for commercial growers. Ideally the vigorous plants should be trellised for higher yield and ease of harvest by hand or mechanical harvesting. USDA Zones 3-8
