The plants were found at Arvon Township, located in Baraga County. Arvon Township is the highest elevation in Michigan, so these plants have survived the coldest winds and harshest climates. The foliage is a deep green during the summer season, changing to deep burgundy in the fall. The fruits are small and flavorful and very plentiful. Hardiness Zones 3-7.
