Erntedank

Origin:  Albert Zilmer, Germany

1. Plant height is up to 12 inches at maturity.
2. Flowering occurs in late summer producing high yields of fruit in October and November.
3. Fruits are large and deep red with excellent firmness.
4. The plants are disease resistant, growing healthy rhizomes and healthy foliage.
5. The cultivar was found in the wild in an upland moor west of Uchte, Germany.  The German name Erntedank translates to Thanksgiving in English.
