Description
JAN BUSH CHERRY
Prunus japonica x jaquemonti
Mature height is four feet high and wide. Ripening of the fruits are mid August to early September. Fruits are firm and good quality for fresh or process. Yields are the same as Joy, eight to ten pounds per plant.
Size is same as other tart cherries. The plant is adaptable to mechanical harvesting methods. Cross pollination with the Joy cultivar will enhance yields and size of the fruits.
