Description
PURPLE DREAM RASPBERRY
Rubus Odoratus
The plants of this new Purple Dream Raspberry have high vigor. It is recommended to train the vigorous stems on a wire trellis to support the huge fruit load. Plants are capable of yielding 4 to 6 pounds of fruit during the mid-summer season.
The fruits have strong raspberry aromas, with high sugar and a hint of acidity. The stems are thorny, but small, 1-2 mm in length. The attractive light purple, medium-size fruits are of favorable quality for local markets and U-Pick operations. The Purple Dream Raspberry is sold in a 2 1\2 inch container. USDA Hardiness Zones 3–7.
