RUBY CARPET BLUEBERRY
Vaccinium corymbosum x angustifolium
Plants were selected in Grand Junction, Michigan from seeds of a wild low-bush blueberry from Maine. Ruby Carpet hugs the ground growing with stems no taller than six inches, a perfect carpet cover.
The small statured plants are very productive with fine flavors of wild tasty bluish black fruits. The summer foliage is deep olive green changing to striking ruby red in the autumn. Plants have high vigor and show resistance to diseases. Hardiness Zones 3-7.
