ENGLISH THORNLESS RASPBERRY
Rubus idaeus
English red raspberry has been thriving on the farm owned by Michael McConkey of Edible Landcaping in Afton, Virginia for 30 years. The red fruits are sweet with good aromas.
The fruits ripen on thorn free floricanes early summer soon after black raspberries. Plants are vigorous and yields are consistent every year, comparable to other summer bearing cultivars. Hardiness Zones 6 – 8.
