A highly productive and flavorful kiwiberry variety, ‘Geneva 3’ is the best-performing selection of the ‘Geneva’ series. The medium sized round fruits, olive green with a subdued blush, grow in dense clusters and exhibit exceptional storability. Sweet kiwi and other tropical flavors and aromas abound. The vines will begin to produce in the third season, yielding several pounds at the start and capable of producing, with proper care, in excess of 50 pounds per year when they reach their peak (year 5 and beyond).
The fruits mature approximately 10 days to two weeks before those of ‘Ana’, providing a wider harvest range if planting multiple cultivars. Harvest window: late September to early October. Recommended commercial or backyard cultivar. Hardiness Zones 4b - 8.
