Jahns Prairie is a reddish pink gooseberry collected from the wild in Alberta, Canada by Otto L. Jahn. This cold hardy plant produces fruits mid to late season. Yields are high and plants are resistant to mildew and gray mold.
Jahns Prairie is a great trouble free cultivar for any growing application. For optimum yields and ease of harvest, gooseberries are best to be grown on a simple trellis. Hardiness Zones 3-8.
